Understanding Your Turf’s Limits

Most turf uses polyethylene (PE) fibers, which resist weak acids/bases but are vulnerable to harsh organic solvents. The backing (usually SBR or PU) has its own pH tolerance. Knowing this helps you choose the right cleaner and avoid damage.

The Universal Stain Response Plan

Follow this 4-step method for most spills:

1.  Blot & Remove (0-2 min): Use a cloth to absorb liquid. Scoop up solids.

2.  Absorb Residue (2-5 min): Sprinkle baking soda or cornstarch to pull moisture from fibers.
